My name is Rob Hurt.  I live and work in Marietta, Georgia.  I’m a Professional Goldsmith, Jewelry Designer, GIA Graduate Gemologist, and Jewelry Appraiser who has a passion for horses and making horse jewelry.  I love what I do, so call me lucky!

My core values are kindness, respect, honesty, hard work, and a dedication to principles.

I would love to establish a relationship with every customer. My goal is to make horse jewelry for you that will inspire you to be your best self and help you mark personal milestones and special occasions.

40 years of experience as a professional goldsmith including a 4 year apprenticeship under 2 master goldsmiths from Europe and the Orient.

Extensive experience as a jewelry designer and goldsmith with hand crafted one-of-a-kind pieces in silver, gold and platinum.

Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), considered the world’s foremost authority in gemology and the industry’s most prestigious gemological training center. 1986.  

GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional, (with honors) (A.J.P.) 2003.

BA and BS from the University of Maryland, 1976 and 1977.

G.I.A. Alumni Association since 1985.

Member of N.A.J.A., the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers since 2013.

Member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians since 2013.
